Business, confront your fear, Courage, fear, feel the fear, just do it, no fear, The Wizard of Oz, word of the day
Courage- is the ability and willingness to confront fear, pain, danger, uncertainty, or intimidation. Physical courage is courage in the face of physical pain, hardship, death, or threat of death, while moral courage is the ability to act rightly in the face of popular opposition, shame, scandal, or discouragement.
Courage. Is there something that you’re scared of? Is there something you’ve been putting off because you’re afraid of what might happen? Is there something you’re not doing because you’re afraid of failing?
Today’s challenge is to be courageous, FEEL THE FEAR AND DO IT ANYWAY! If you fail, get up and try again. That in itself is the most courageous thing you can do.
If you don’t think you’re the kind of person who is courageous, remember the Cowardly Lion from The Wizard of Oz. He never believed he had courage until he faced his fears and found out that the courage was inside him all along.
“Courage! What makes a king out of a slave? Courage! What makes the flag on the mast to wave? Courage! What makes the elephant charge his tusk in the misty mist, or the dusky dusk? What makes the muskrat guard his musk? Courage! What makes the sphinx the seventh wonder? Courage! What makes the dawn come up like thunder? Courage! What makes the Hottentot so hot? What puts the “ape” in apricot? What have they got that I don’t got?!?!?!”
